Es könnte ja sonst langweilig werden …Podria ser aburrido …No time for boredom …
Genau das hat uns noch zu unserem Glück auf der Cat Ba Insel gefehlt:
Ein TAIFUN!
Nachdem der Taifun Megi die Philippinen verwüstet hat, bewegt er sich nun in unsere Richtung (gelbes Kreuz) …
Wir gehen schon mal vorsorglich ein paar Liter Wasser und Nahrungsmittel kaufen und werden die kommenden Naturgewalten sicher aus unseren Zimmer verfolgen.
… vielleicht haben wir Glück und er dreht nach Norden ab 🙂

We found a new, really clean and cheap (150.000 VND per night) hotel:

Nui Ngoc Street, 18 Group, Cat Ba Town
Its really quiet and we are the only guest here! Imagine this: Sleeping without earplugs 🙂
Maybe we will see each other again on the island?

Momentan wolkenloser Himmel und bis jetzt keine Anzeichen von Sturm!
Vielleicht hätte ich den Strom Generator, 50 Liter Wasser & Benzin, 20 kg Reis, 3 Hühner, das AK-47 Sturmgewehr, 2 Fackeln, eine Packung Morphium und eine Kiste Hanoi Wodka doch nicht kaufen müssen? 😉
Oder ist das die sprichwörtliche Ruhe vor dem Sturm?

Despues de que el tifon Megi ya ha destrozado mucho en las Philipinas ahora esta en direccion de nuestra isla.(la cruz amarilla) …
Vamos a comprar unos litros de agua y unas cosillas para comer y mirar la fuerza de naturaleza seguros desde nuestra habitacion.
… alomejor tambien tenemos suerte y aun cambia la direccion hacia norte!!! 🙂

After having already caused damages on the Phillipines, typhoon Megi is comming now in our direction (yellow cross) …
We are thinking of buying some Water and something to eat and watch the forces of nature from our secure Hotel-room.
… maybe we also have luck and the typhoon changes direction to the north ab 🙂

Until now everything is calm, a sunny day without any clouds and no signs of a storm!
Perhaps there was no need to buy an electric generator, 50 l water, petrol, 20 kg rice, 3 chicken, the AK-47 rautomatic-riffle, 2 flares, a pack morphine and a boy of Hanoi Vodka? 😉
